首先上图,图是网上找的,自己画比较麻烦。。。 我觉得这两张图比较简单,但是能够表达tomcat的大致结构。 如上面两张图所示,server、service、connector、container、engine、host、context是组成tomcat的大致组件。而且他们都与server.xml中的配置相对应。

tomcat中最核心的两个组件是connector和container。他们共同构成了service,有了service就可以对外提供服务了。然后service又属于server,整个tomcat的生命周期由server控制。
